The History of No Dog Left Behind
We were often faced with the dilemma of shortening, or even canceling a vacation because of the discomfort that was always involved with placing our dogs in a kennel or imposing upon a family member or friend to dog-sit. In January 2000, we had the fortunate experience of visiting a B&B that allowed us to bring our dogs. Although we were very happy to include our dogs, the immediate relief of not having to kennel them was quickly replaced with a new dilemma. Now what to do with them? This beautiful B&B did not allow us to leave the dogs alone in the room and did not provide an alternative place to keep them. Since it was a cold January weekend in Pennsylvania, options were limited, and the vacation was stressful. But out of this experience, a new business vision was born: A high quality, comfortable inn that not only allows guests to bring dogs, but also caters to the unique needs of dog owners.
We are in the process of expanding our vision to
include additional accommodations and services for dog owners. Please
