Shakespeare's Retreat

The original master bedroom of our 1786 farmhouse, this spacious two room suite features high ceilings, original hardwood floors, fantastic views, a four poster queen bed, electric fireplace, a large bathroom with tub, a separate sleeping area for a third guest, and easy access to a guest kitchenette, Diggins Dog Park, and our picturesque front and back yards.
Bad Dog
Romantic King Bedroom Suite

To be sure, the name of this room is all in fun; there is no such thing as a bad dog! High ceilings, a magnificent oversized four poster king bed, sunlight, an electric fireplace stove and pretty views from tall windows, bathroom with tub, make the Bad Dog room among the favorite guestrooms at our inn. Bad Dog also has easy access to a guest kitchenette, Diggins Dog Park, and our picturesque front and back yards.

Comfortable and cheerful with a special touch of farmhouse charm, a pretty fireplace, high ceilings, 250+ year old original wood floors, a queen bed and large bathroom, The Good Dog room also has views to our beautiful meadows to the south and west and provides easy access to a guest kitchenette, Diggins Dog Park, and our picturesque front and back yards.
The Chase Suite

The Chase is a most ideal setup for families or those really want to spread out! After Covid we converted our large living room into a stunning private space with its own entrance and mudroom, kitchenette, direct access to Diggins Dog Park, picture windows, large fireplace, multiple sleeping arrangements, dining area, and large screen TV and the coolest wallpaper you will ever see. The second floor features the main bedroom with breathtaking views of Vermont's Taconic Ridge, our north meadow, and Paw House Park. .
Dogwood Suite
First Floor Suite Queen Bedroom + Private Sitting Room

This warm, inviting first-floor suite now offers its own private sitting room with private dining and additional creature comforts along with a brand new queen bed that was built by Mitch! Wide-planked hardwood floors, large walk in tile shower, high ceilings, electric fireplace stove, and peaceful views of the backyard meadow and treed hilltops give you suite the ultimate feel of farmhouse privacy, escape and luxury. If booking Dogwood for more than 2 humans, comfy chairs that open up to twin beds are available to be setup for you by request.
Stanley's Studio
First Floor King Bedroom

In memory of our beloved Stanley, this bright and cheerful first floor room is also ideal for doggos who have difficulty climbing stairs and for those who want easy access to our backyard, Diggins Dog Park, and a guest kitchenette. This guest favorite inn unit features a bathroom with a beautiful walk in tile shower, an electric fireplace stove, a comfy sitting area, and the private entrance leads directly to our covered porch - a perfect spot for relaxing with furry friend(s).

Like Stanley's Studio and Dogwood, Spot is a first floor room with easy access to a kitchenette, our backyard and Diggins Dog Park.
The Bark Avenue Suite

One of the largest rooms within the inn, Bark Ave features an over-sized king sleigh bed, separate sitting area with a custom built queen bed, private entrance with a private porch, a pot belly electric fireplace stove, private dining area with a fridge and freezer and microwave, spacious bathroom with tub, large screen TV, sensational views and easy access to our picturesque backyard and Diggins Dog Park.
Koko's Kabana

Named for our little cutie, The Koko Kabana is a spacious and bright country cottage that accommodates up to four humans. This retreat features great open spaces, cathedral ceilings, and is equipped with a large kitchen. Room accommodations include a king bed, queen sleeper sofa, fantastic views, a beautiful wall mounted fireplace, a private deck, gas grill in warm months, and the coolest dog themed bathroom you will ever see.
Brooklyn's Bungalow

Named in honor of our silly, adorable, and beautiful Golden Retriever, Brooklyn's Bungalow is a fantastic and spacious retreat that accommodates up to four humans. The country cottage features an in room jacuzzi tub, cathedral ceilings, king accommodations, a queen sleeper sofa, a cozy sitting area with a large inset electric fireplace, well apportioned kitchen, a pretty bathroom and private deck.
