Planning Suggestions and Packing Checklist
In preparation for your visit we have created a checklist which will be very helpful for planning. If you have any questions or just want to say hi, please feel free to e-mail or call.
1. Join Our Pack
If you have not already done so, join our Pack on Facebook and follow us on Instagram.
2. Check In Time
Check in is by appointment only from 3-7pm and until 9pm on Friday. If you have not already informed us of your check in time, PLEASE LET US KNOW YOUR ETA or call us 802-558-2661 to let us know what time you expect to arrive. if your time should change, that is ok. We only ask that you let us know because we staff for you accordingly.
3, Vaccination History
Please either email or BRING WITH YOU a notification from your vet stating that your dog is current on their vaccinations for titers for 1) DHLLP (a.k.a DHL2P or 5 in 1), 2) rabies, and 3) bordatella. This note can take the form of a receipt or a letter from your vet. If you have any questions about this or any questions about any particular vaccination - particularly bordatella please call us 802-558-2661. If your dog is not vaccinated for bordatella, you will be required to sign a waiver acknowledging that you accept the risks associated with non-vaccination.
4. What to Bring For Your Dogs:
Leash(es)!!
A blanket or bed from home (for use in Mario’s Playhouse)
Dog food and bowls
Your dog's favorite toys
Please know that with the exception of food we do keep a good supply of all of the above in the event that you forget to bring you own. Unless your dog chews furniture or may be destructive in the private guest room, there is no need to bring a crate.
We believe that everything else you may need is available including towels for the dogs, waste pickup bags, toys, a fridge for dog food, can openers, utensils, and more.
Humans please bring comfortable house shoes to wear inside - for sanitary reasons we ask humans to remove their shoes upon entering the inn. (The dogs can keep their shoes on.)
5. Dietary Restrictions
If you have any dietary restrictions and/or requests, please let us know and we will do whatever we need to do to accommodate you. This is your vacation and you can't leave the dining room HUNGRY!
